Film Poster

Inspired by my research I designed a poster for a film based on a true event, following the story of a gruesome witch hunt that took place in the Norwegian village of Vardo. The film would leave the viewer to decide whether the evil lay in the youth on trial, or townspeople and religious leaders who brutally persecuted them.

The project was to design a full scale movie poster, with an original storyline, the use of existing celebrities and artwork prohibited.

With the skills learned in Photoshop I designed the poster with several images, using the bloody hands on the girl as the focal point, creating contrast and drawing the viewer in.

My intention was to create a poster for an artistically driven thriller, that left the viewer engaged and put on edge.
